At Domaine Florian, our kitchen is an extension of who we are: a family-run winery committed to authenticity, hospitality, and exceptional culinary experiences. As we continue to expand our gastronomy concept, we are looking for a passionate Chef who will help shape the next chapter of our restaurant.
About the Role
The Sous Chef will assist the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen operations, including preparation, smooth service flow, and maintaining the overall quality of our dishes. Our cuisine is seasonal, crafted to pair with our estate wines, and inspired by the flavours of Northern Greece — with a strong emphasis on craftsmanship and respect for ingredients.
We operate an open kitchen, so precision, cleanliness, and a professional appearance at all times are essential.
This is a full-time position. Every Friday we host live music, and throughout the year we run a variety of events including tastings, private dinners, and weddings.
Meet Our Head Chef: Nikos Papachristodoulou
As Chef, you will work alongside our Head Chef, Nikos Papachristodoulou. Originally from Edessa, Nikos brings a decade of diverse culinary experience spanning Greece and Europe, with positions in Thessaloniki, Paris, Crete, and beyond.
Nikos trained in Culinary Arts at IEK Kappa Studies in Heraklion and has held Head Chef positions at establishments in Thassos and Elounda, as well as kitchen management roles at Villa Luna, Koru, and Baer Erikousa. His international experience includes work at Thalassa and Evie Evan in Paris.
His philosophy centres on teamwork, continuous improvement, and delivering exceptional guest experiences — values that align perfectly with the Domaine Florian family spirit. He is committed to excellence, cleanliness, and positive collaboration, and brings creative energy alongside strong organisational skills.
