An Evening of Brazilian Music

Brazilian Project brings the sound of Rio to Domaine Florian for a Friday night that moves between bossa nova, samba and choro — the three genres that define Brazilian popular music. Led by Rio-born guitarist Rogério Bicudo, based in Amsterdam and with recordings by some of Brazil's most celebrated artists, the quartet is joined by internationally acclaimed Greek saxophonist Dimitris Vassilakis — five-time Candid Records artist and BBC Music Magazine Album of the Month. With Eljona Sinjari's voice and Lakis Tzimkas's double bass, it's a set that drifts between the intimate and the rhythmic, the familiar and the unexpected. The kind of evening where the room settles in, the wine keeps flowing, and the music feels closer than you'd expect.
