Gene Kelly is an American ex-GI living in Paris, painting by day and falling in love by night — and Vincente Minnelli turns the whole thing into one of the most visually stunning musicals ever put on film. The seventeen-minute ballet finale, set to Gershwin's orchestral poem, remains one of cinema's great set pieces: pure colour, pure movement, pure joy. A film that makes you want to dance, travel, and order another glass of wine — ideally all at once. 🍷 Coming just for dinner without the film? You're welcome at our indoor dining area, or at our outdoor seating before the screening begins. The restaurant runs as usual, fully separate from the screening area.
