Ziad Rajab — master of the oud and a rare interpreter of the Arabic musical tradition — presents a captivating evening where music and poetry meet in natural harmony. With his distinctive voice and the warm tones of his oud, Rajab brings to life both the classical Arabic tradition and his own original compositions, creating a rich soundscape full of colour, sensitivity, and inner depth. Anna Vergou joins him on the bandir, weaving subtle, translucent sonic textures that converse with Rajab's voice and melodies, adding a unique atmospheric layer to the programme.
