Dimitris Zervoudakis — one of the most distinctive voices in Greek songwriting — comes to Domaine Florian for an unforgettable summer evening. A singer-songwriter of singular stature, with a commanding stage presence that has left a deep mark from his early days with the legendary Neoi Epivates, through his own work and collaborations with major Greek composers and performers. A soulful voice that has absorbed both his rock influences and the deep roots of Greek traditional, rebetiko, and laiko music.
He will meet the audience with songs hand-picked from his creative journey over the years — the songs that have stayed with his audience. On stage, he is joined by a group of outstanding musicians for a show full of energy and powerful emotional shifts. Nikos Christidis joins him for four songs. Interaction with the audience is an essential part of his shows. His most recent record, Tou Trelou i Anasa ("The Madman's Breath"), has been embraced warmly by listeners.
